 Excellent, Simple, Effective Remote January 6, 2009

I was searching for a simple, effective remote for my 89 y.o. Dad who is afflicted with Parkinson's. He lives for his t.v. but the " new fangled " remotes forever left him stranded and us frustrated bailing him out of remote predicaments. He has a large Samsung projection as well as a flat screen. Weemote was the answer! We bought one for each t.v. Everyone in the family was pleased.

I rec'd the Weemote Sr. as advertised - in great condition and earlier than the expected delivery date. It worked great on our older RCA TV. But, when I tried to use it with my Sr. adult mother's 2008 Samsung model LN40A450 LCD flatscreen TV it would not work. Fobis's tech tried diligently to help to resolve...but could not determine a code to get it to work. Also, I noticed that the volume & channel up/down (yellow) buttons were a little stiff for an older person to push.
I give the style and concept 5 Stars.
Service I give 5 Stars - the tech was very responsive to my multiple emails
Design - needs work - I give it 1 Star for lack of current codes for 2008 model TV and difficulty for older person to push the buttons
I've requested an RA # to return the product. Too bad - - this is a great concept.
